I finally finished my CD, All These Years! I know you’ve heard all about it already (and if you haven’t, here it is!). To celebrate, I’m having a little get-together at Durango Roasters, which used to be called Durango Coffee Company. It’s downtown Durango, and it is soooo much more than just coffee. Let me get you the details:
On Thursday, October 26th at 7pm, I’m hoping to sit down in front of some of my closest family, friends, and fans. I’ll bring my keys, a guitar, and a set list that includes more originals than covers. If you get there early, around 6:30, you’ll get a good seat, and I’ll be able to chat with you before the show. If you don’t get there early, don’t despair– I’ll be chatting with everyone during a brief intermission around 7:45 and again after the show is over at about 8:30. I’ll sign CDs if you want, I’ll pose for pics, I’ll shake hands and meet your friends that you brought that have never heard of me before, I’ll cheers you with my own glass of wine, and we’ll have a good time.
The whole event’s purpose is to celebrate this accomplishment, yes, but it’s also got this side-job of producing some video content for me. I purposely chose this venue because it’s not a wild and crazy bar (though you can get beer and wine, as well as food). I’m hoping the audience treats it like a small concert at an intimate venue, like a living room. If you’re reading this, you probably know what I mean. Come on in, have a seat on the couch. Listen. I have stories to tell you about all kinds of things.
Check out Durango Roaster’s here. Their menu isn’t online, but they have light lunch/snack food– think more pastries and paninis than plated meals. They also have a varied selection of wine and beer. The atmosphere is casual, as is the seating.
I would love, love, love it if you can make it! Feel free to contact me with any other questions! This event is free and open to the public, and it’s a family friendly place. Hope you can be there!
